From IFT to Your Kitchen – The Benefits and Recipes Behind Our Sample Selection
During this year’s Southern California IFT Suppliers’ Night, we were happy to demonstrate our passion for flavor by providing samples of our carefully created seasoning blends. Each blend is tailored to encourage creative cooking and effortlessly uplift your dishes. If you haven’t yet explored our seasoning blends, here you’ll find some tasty, simple recipes, along with some benefits of using them:
1. Chili Lime Seasoning
Benefits: A zesty blend that brings a tangy heat to your dishes. It’s perfect for adding a lively kick to meats, seafood, and vegetables.
Recipe: Chili Lime Grilled Shrimp
- 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp Chili Lime Seasoning
- Lime wedges for serving
Instructions:
- In a bowl, toss the shrimp with olive oil and Chili Lime Seasoning until well coated.
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Thread the shrimp on skewers.
- Grill for 2-3 minutes per side, until the shrimp are pink and slightly charred.
- Serve with lime wedges for an extra burst of citrus.
2. Honey BBQ Seasoning
Benefits: A sweet and smoky blend that’s perfect for creating that classic barbecue flavor. Great for rubs, marinades, or as a finishing touch.
Recipe: Honey BBQ Chicken Wings
- 2 lbs chicken wings
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 3 tbsp Honey BBQ Seasoning
- 2 tbsp honey
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Toss the chicken wings with olive oil and Honey BBQ Seasoning.
- Arrange the wings on the baking sheet and bake for 25 minutes.
- Brush the wings with honey and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes, until crispy.
- Serve hot and enjoy the sweet and savory goodness.
3. Taco Seasoning
Benefits: A versatile blend that adds the perfect balance of spices to your favorite Mexican dishes. It’s great for tacos, fajitas, and even soups.
Recipe: Easy Taco Salad
- 1 lb ground beef
- 3 tbsp Taco Seasoning
- 6 cups mixed salad greens
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup tortilla chips, crushed
- Salsa and sour cream for serving
Instructions:
- In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Stir in Taco Seasoning and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
- In a large bowl, combine salad greens, tomatoes, cheese, and cooked beef.
- Top with crushed tortilla chips, salsa, and sour cream before serving.
4. Garlic Parmesan Seasoning
Benefits: A rich and savory blend that brings a delicious depth of flavor to pasta, popcorn, and vegetables.
Recipe: Garlic Parmesan Roasted Potatoes
- 2 lbs baby potatoes, halved
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 3 tbsp Garlic Parmesan Seasoning
- 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 425°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Toss the potatoes with olive oil and Garlic Parmesan Seasoning.
- Spread the potatoes on the baking sheet and roast for 25-30 minutes, until golden and crispy.
- Sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese before serving.
