Paprika is a spice made from dried and ground red peppers and is frequently sprinkled raw on foods as a garnish.
Paprika is also used as an ingredient in numerous dishes and is principally used to season and color rice, stews, and soups, in the preparation of sausages such as Spanish chorizo, mixed with meats and other spices.
